Although I am not a massively slender person, for some reason fate his gifted me very skinny earlobes. Which is somewhat random and extremely irritating if, like me, you like jewellery and earrings. My earlobes just don't have the requisite flesh to support bold earrings. So, I thought I would give these a try.
You put the patch behind the ear. You can either do it first and thread the earring through - puncturing the patch as you go - or you can pop the earring in, then use the patch and then close the earring.
I found the first option easier and a bit less fiddly.
I tried this with some of my heaviest drop earrings. They usually pull the earlobe down quite a bit. These did make an easily observed difference. It was not totally perfect, but it was pretty good. I must also say that these earrings were a real test as they have about 13 carats of stone in each. So, they are heavy. I had stopped wearing them but this enable me to do that again.
The clothes strips are very sticky, easy to attach and do keep your clothes firmly in place. All in all this is a useful little bit of kit.
